These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Translate & Train mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Translate & Train is a language-learning utility that uses third-party AI providers (currently Google Gemini) to translate text, generate examples, analyze passages for vocabulary, and perform OCR on images. The App stores your personal dictionary and practice progress locally on your device.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.
You authenticate via Apple Sign In or Google Sign In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the underlying Apple or Google account. We may suspend or terminate access if we detect abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
The App imposes a lifetime cap on cumulative AI spending (in USD) per account. When the cap is reached, AI features stop until you redeem a promo code that grants additional credit.
There is currently no paid subscription. We may introduce one in the future, in which case these Terms will be updated and you will be notified inside the App.

When you use any AI feature, the text or image you submit is transmitted to a third-party AI provider (currently Google Gemini). Their handling of that data is governed by their own terms and privacy policies:
We are not responsible for the accuracy, safety, or appropriateness of AI-generated output. AI models may produce incorrect or misleading translations and explanations. Do not rely on AI output for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
The App, including its source code, design, and trademarks, is owned by the developer. You receive a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of any content you submit through the App; you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the requested service.
The App includes open-source software covered by separate licenses. A list of those components and their licenses is available within the App's Settings.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) USD $10.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations. In those jurisdictions, the above limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access at any time without notice if we believe you have violated these Terms or if the service must be shut down.
Sections 7 (IP), 9 (Disclaimers), 10 (Liability), and 12 (Governing Law) survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kazakhstan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Kazakhstan, unless applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring the dispute in your country of residence.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
